Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, a prominent institution located in St. Leonard, Maryland, was recently in dire need of a complete roofing replacement. The project spanned from March 16, 2023, to April 12, 2023, and was undertaken with utmost professionalism and dedication, resulting in a new and robust roof for the cherished church and its community.

Assessing The Damage

There were several problems with their roof. When our team arrived on the job we found that the roof had significant water damage and was leaking at several locations. There were also several cracked shingles, and a few areas were completely missing shingles as well!

Damaged Shingles

The adverse weather conditions had caused numerous shingles to either become damaged or lost altogether. This resulted in compromised roof integrity and left the structure vulnerable to further damage.

Inadequate Flashing

Subpar flashing had allowed water to infiltrate the church’s walls and seep into its interiors. This could have led to long-term structural damage as well as mold and mildew problems if not addressed promptly.

Insufficient Venting

Proper ventilation is paramount to ensuring a long-lasting roofing solution. Our assessment revealed that the previous roofing system did not have sufficient venting, which could lead to numerous issues like moisture buildup and a shorter lifespan for the roof.
